Mid January Part 2: More Good Skiing

Avalanche barriers and face shots

It doesn't seem to matter the weather. Maybe we're that lucky. I don't recall selling my soul to the devil, but it seems finding good snow hasn't been an issue in Hakuba. Since it's January, it's been mostly flat light even when skiing the alpine. This hasn't stopped us from hiking around and working on a variety of terrain. The pesky rain layer from late December keeps us off some larger options, but hasn't stopped us from having lots of fun. Even bad days in Hakuba are still good days.
