Sometimes it's good to be wrong. Lee works down the face of Kaerazu.
Matthias and I skied the Vacuums while Lee, who remembered crampons that fit, made it around to Kaerazu. It was a great way to take advantage of good conditions, and a really awesome way to end February. We've got a few more days of questionable weather (March 2: 32mm of rain in the past 24 hours and it's now -2.6), then what could be another window. As always, just the tip isn't enough. Still excited from two days ago, we're looking forward to going a little deeper as soon as conditions permit.
As always above Happo, just a little bit of wind. |
Matthias in the Vacuum. One of the more aesthetic lines I've skied. |
"Victory fist pump" good |
Lee on Kaerazu. He's the powder cloud just above the center of the photo. |
Feeling small |
We even found some deeper snow on the way out |
Matthias's shit eating grin says it all |
